Into the West Challenge ride Saturday 13th August

The weather looks set fair for Saturday's Into the West Challenge Ride with temperatures in the high teens and a moderate westerly, which should at least ensure a tail wind on the home run. 142 miles and around 7500 ft of climbing according to Ride with GPS. It should be another proper big day out that you want on your palmares!
The general consensus is for a 7am start in the square. This should get us to Leyburn for our first café stop at the Posthorn around 10am followed by some proper countryside and a chance to stretch your climbing legs, then a second café stop in the afternoon at everyone's favourite, Johnny Baghdad's in Masham. Should be back in York before 6. If anyone wants the course to download pm me with your email address.
See you in the Square Saturday. You know you want to!
