Dear All,

How time flies! Here we are already at the end of what has been a great series with one event to go this Thursday night. We always get a good turn out for the flat 10 and whilst riding with Mr President on Saturday he suggested he may be able to encourage a number of younger riders to enter. So, lets ensure the event goes well. I'm grateful to Mark who has volunteered to marshal and Bernard, fresh from hols', who is timekeeping BUT we still need an organiser, pusher off and another 3 marshals to ensure the event can go ahead.

We always get there in the end with volunteers but please help me retain what little hair I have by eliminating my worries. Please could we have an organiser and some marshals? Many thanks. looking forward to seeing a good turn out on the night.

Hi All, Unless we get an event organiser & a couple more marshals for tomorrow night's final 2016 SPOCO TT the event will have to be cancelled. I will give it until 12 noon tomorrow before making the final decision to cancel.

Well, having twinged a muscle slightly, I am out of the raiding on Thursday so will organise the signs + stuff - we just need a couple more marshals, fingers crossed for a good day out! Don't feel too sorry for me as I have escaped a long list of weekend jobs and spent the weekend with my feet up ...additionally, I've discovered a great 'ice pack' consisting of compression socks + ice pops!

Hi Martin, I'm sorry to hear of your injury but most grateful for your offer to 'organise'. It looks like we have enough marshals now. Suzie has offered to help & Dr Dave has kindly volunteered Debbie, who I'm sure is a willing volunteer, to marshal too. Dave I'Anson will be on hand to assist Bernard with time keeper 'spotting' duties and I'm sure we can get someone to help 'push off'.

Thanks to everyone for their help, especially Martin who has done more than his fair share of duties this season. We are good to go. See you all tomorrow night for the 2016 SPOCO TT grand finale!

P.S. Getting my excuses in early; any poor performance on my part tomorrow will be due to keeping up with Ian Hagyard in the downing of Timothy Taylor's Landlord at tonight's social at the Knavesmire
