Well done to everyone who rode, and thanks to all who volunteered. Particular congratulations to anyone riding their first one: James was new to the area and Anna was riding her first ever TT - and would surely have gone under the half hour if she hadn't missed a turning near the end of the route.

Tonight was a good night and reminded me of just how much fun these events are. I'm looking forward to riding Brandsby next week - it's a 13 mile rolling course and is most people's favourite. Here it is.

There's only one problem: we still don't have an organiser! These events can't go ahead without people volunteering, so make sure to get your names down sooner rather than later. Tonight was my first time organising and David kindly showed me the ropes, so if you're nervous about stepping up to the mark, I'm sure someone will be able to help you out the first time round.

Good effort everyone, big thanks to Greg for stepping up to the mark to organise, glad to have 'showed the ropes'. Big thanks to Dave C for timekeeping and the marshals without whose help these events can't take place. As Greg says there is still a gap to fill as 'organiser' for next week. I have put the folders together which contain everything you need for the event, sign on forms, marshal forms, circuit details with sign requirements. I will be competing next week but I will be more than happy to provide a supporting role. Once again, well done everyone, great to see some new faces. See you next week.

Kind regards David
