Inters/A-Ride for Sat, Jan. 16th

With today's blowing snow, we're looking at a cooling trend for the next few days, with a high of +3 on Saturday but the good news is that we should be bathing in dry sunshine. NW12 winds will also be on deck.
Graham and I were chatting the other night and thought that a trip out to Thornton Dale would be a nice change, including a few inclines for the hill seekers among us.
With recent flooding, I'm not sure if we can get though Howsham, so a quick detour via Kirkham Abbey might be necessary, also, if we're good on time and feeling adventurous, we can skip Allerston for Ebberston and take a blast down Dalby Forest Drive.
We should also be cognizant of ground frost, particularly on the higher elevations and exposed roads, adjusting our plans accordingly.
~116Km / 72 miles square to square.
As always for this time of year, fenders and lights recommended
