I can handle and dress for the rain, but realistically, if the wind materializes then it's unsafe for cycling and I'll probably forego the ride in favour of a Zwift-trainer session.
This route was suggested to me a couple of weeks ago and at just over 60 miles, it fits the bill for a bad-weather ride and should get us home well before the 15:44 sunset.
If it's particularly wet, we can cut off the Kilburn section (White Horse Bank was very greasy last time I did it after rain, so I expect it to be horrible during rain) and whip over to Wass and Ampleforth.
Fenders and lights recommended, along with the following attire, including snacks:
