11 out with the inters on Saturday. Along with myself, Tony, Graham, John b, Kevin n, John g, Ian, Rich, Pete s, James, and a guest appearance from Steen. Thanks for the company, standard route out to Driffield avoiding some very muddy lanes thanks to some local knowledge. Distance and terrain about right for the time of year, sunshine only briefly in the afternoon . Chose to use the Stamford bridge cycle path on the way back, not been down there for a while, a bit slippy with all the falling leaves, but thankfully no incidents, back in your York before dark, but for me finished in dark.

Sadly won't be able to make this Saturday but I do hope this benine weather holds so can keep going out throughout November

Well after 875 miles and 37738 feet of ascent with the Inters A group , I am now back home in France. The journey home was a bit grim with fog most of the way but I made it ok.
I just want to say thanks to the group for some memorable rides , not forgetting some memorable climbs!
I certainly discovered Yorkshire.
You are a great bunch of riders and do the club proud.
If you are ever passing through Oise I can guide a few routes.

Just three in the Square for the Sunday ride and that figure included me - Andy's G & S being the other thrill seekers. Destination Driffield, the jewel of the southern Wolds. A cool foggy day - at least it was for the first and fifth hour of the ride. The rest was in brilliant sunshine and warm temperatures a bit too warm considering our thermal attire. Out through Stammy Bridge, Millington and a few other places, Andy G did a good job with navigation. I've been this way many times but for some reason the route just never sticks in my head. The cafe stop was at the mill which is practically a charity. Back via Cowlam, Lutton and North Grimston. Andy S took a left soon after leaving the remainders to avoid the main roads in the fog and tackle the climb out of Kirkham Abbey and then the lanes round Bossall and Sand Hutton. Home just after half two and I would reckon on 80 miles on the clock. A sound ride on some nice lanes and I think Andy called it right choosing to head East that morning.
