SPOCO TT 6th August - Coneysthorpe - LIGHTS!

Many thanks to the members who have volunteered to ensure the above event can go ahead. The last one of the series and a week later than anticipated due to some shuffling of events because of road works and a clash of events. A real baptism of fire!
So far we have had a great series which has been 'incident' free. To help keep it that way may I take the opportunity to advise competitiors to, at least, display a rear light. We seem to have lost out on summer and already the nights are drawing in. We only need a dull day for visibility to be compromised and for a SMIDSY to happen! What price safety for the sacrifice of carrying a few gramms of extra weight!
Lights will be even more important for those, like me, who will be cycling home from the event. In which case a front light would not go amiss.
Here's to a great and safe final SPOCO event of 2016. See you there!
Kind regards David
