Just to avoid confusion for those who have not been folllowing the previous thread regarding this event, we are now good to go. Many thanks to everyone who has volunteered to fill the essential roles to run the event. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the night, where, as well as helping and taking part I will be recruiting!!

Need anymore help? I can't ride this one and I'm away all of June so will miss 4 TT's but wanted to ride/help enough to get in the leaderboard as I'm sure somewhere it says you need to ride 5 and help at at least 1.

Hi Jake, You are correct 5 to count + duties at 1. We are good to go for this Thursday but there are gaps to fill across the series. Go to the front page of the SPOCO Thursday night series and 'click' where it says 'here' and fill in whatever gaps you can. All help much appreciated.

Ah right, won't be able to get counted then as there are only 5 more after this weeks I'm in the UK for so not enough to ride/help at. I'll just do what I can this year no worries.

Jake - if you organise an event, it counts as a ride (although you score no points), so you could organise one, ride four and appear on the final leaderboard.

I am tempted to come down, however I am not sure if I am actually still a member? I have Clifton down as 2nd claim but not sure?

Is is possible to get a ride?

Notes

If no rider meets the qualifying criteria in a particular category, then no award will be given

Event organisers: organising an event will count as a 'ride' towards qualification, but will gain no points.

Whatever age you are when you ride your first event, you will remain in that age category for the whole series.

Riders must be current, paid up members of Clifton Cycling Club. There will be no distinction made between 1st and 2nd claim riders - all riders compete equally as Clifton CC.

Its all good, went through and renewed my membership... might be a member twice but at least I can ride!

Also just to confirm this is on the flat 10?

Flat 10 Sheriff Hutton Bridge/Moxby Lane

A very big thanks to Martin, Craig, Bernard, Dave, marshalls and competitors for a great first event in the SPOCO series. Everyone seemed to have a good time and hopefully maybe inspired to help out at future events in the series. Once again many thanks, bodes well for a good series.

Gutted I missed it but my son was ill today so stayed at home with him this evening. Will be there next week. There was some mega fast times from some of the Strava users from on here I see. Make me feel like I'm going backwards next week!!
