The name of this one sound like a comment on financial Industry -No capitalism should get though the weekend its just a bike ride up and down the banks of the Hambleton Hills.

9am start on Sunday in Exhibition Sq any Saturday A riders or others needing to practice punctuality will be welcome. Remember the clocks change !

So we have a steady ride out to Kilburn we shall ride up the bank at our own pace regroup and steady ride to the next one we will have 10 to get over.
High Town Bank or White Horse - Boltby - Murton Heights - Ladhill Bank - Newgate Bank - Bradley Bank
Lunch
Wass Bank - Beacon Bank - Painter Rigg - Yearsley
95 miles in total a couple of different banks from other years to keep it interesting not sure how much climbing you can tell me at the end.
Who is it for you might ask. Anyone who has cycled through the last winter and wants to test themselves or improve on the hills. Not for hillphobia suffers or the steep gradient intolerant (SGI).
Not looking for any speed records just a harder than normal day out on the bike.
If your not sure come anyway you will soon know if your not enjoying it, you will not be too far from home if you remember you have something more important to attend to.

Hope to see you Sunday

In other news
The Wiggington 300 is coming up on May 9th at least 5 Sunday irregulars will be doing it. Some of you Saturday persons may wish to join us or form a group of your own. Its a fantastic day out but you will have to get up early. Enter in the next few weeks as these Audax rides are filling up as most are qualifiers for PBP this year.

Sorry Steen, I will be AWOL on Sunday - I've a family commitment which rules this out for me. A shame really because doing this ride would have done my climbing no end of good.

I had to turn back after only 5 banks due to a busted mudguard and worn-out brake pads (oops). Made it home safe and sound. Hope the rest of the crew enjoyed the other 5 climbs and got some better weather this afternoon.
