Forecast seems to be changing by the hour; however, based on the current one, looks like there could be a strong wind coming from the southwest. Proposed route is a loop west picking up Knaresborough, Wetherby and Tadcaster and giving us a good chance of a tail wind for the last leg up from Cawood. 08:45 start, just under 67 miles Square to Square and, with less climbing than last week, we should be back in York at about 12:30.

Just a suggestion - if you loop through to the west of Wetherby via Linton to Collingham you can then take Jewitt Lane up the escarpment and turn left across to Bramham and thereby get to the 'top road'. Then turn R to drop down over the A64.

Avoids some of the busier sections and the main road out of Boston Spa....

Thanks Dave, I think I have adjusted the route as suggested - extends it a bit to 70 miles, but better to avoid the busier roads. The map and link should update automatically.
