Hello All!
I've already asked against an "Inters" post, but can someone confirm if the 3-Bridges Rides are happening ths year? I think Karl mentioned a few weeks ago that he was doing a recce of the route on behalf of Greg but I haven't heard anything subsequently.
Thanks
Craig

You beat me to it Craig! Sorry for the lack of info until now, I was going to start a topic tonight.
The Three Bridges rides have changed a bit this year. There are two rides like last year, the difference is that they now start from York, namely Fulford church hall. The rides are:
- A 162 km loop round Howden, Beverley and Malton. This is an almost-flat loop for anyone wanting to bag an 'easy' 100 miler.
- A 210 km route that goes out to the cafe on the other side of the Humber Bridge, then re-crosses the Bridge and up to Bridlington for a seaside stop before returning to York on the Leavening route. This one's a bit lumpier towards the end but all told, it's not much further than the original Three Bridges plus riding out to Stamford Bridge and back. You'd better pre-enter if you want to do this one though, as it's already proving popular with the Audax community and if you're not careful I might run out of brevet cards!
Both rides can be entered from their calendar entries on
www.audax.uk.net - I'd prefer if you did this and the entries will be open until midweek - or else you can enter on the day. Prices are a few quid each, check the Audax site. The longer ride starts at 9am and the shorter ride starts at 9:30.
You can view the routes and download .gpx files here:

See you all on the day!

Online entry: it says you should enter two weeks in advance but the deadline for online entry is actually Wednesday, so it will work up until then.

Anyone who's riding either of these, I look forward to seeing you tomorrow! You can enter on the line, I'd prefer it if you brought a pre-filled form but I'll have plenty of blank forms there, just in case. Entry is £3 for the 100 mile ride or £3.50 for the 210 km ride, plus £3 insurance if you aren't a member of Audax, the CTC or BC.
