Could be the ride of the year! Catch the train to Edinburgh on the Saturday evening. Meet in Edinburgh Waverley Station and depart at midnight, heading south. Fantastic route. Watch the sunrise over the Scottish borders. Hadrians Wall, Alston, Teesdale and home. About 225miles brings you home for a late Sunday tea. Not as hard as it first sounds, but we'll need to be organised and ride efficiently.

I'm booked onto the 1954 out of York with my bike. Currently the ticket price is £26.45. Let me know if you're coming (tell me on a Sunday, post here or PM).

You know you want to.... 8)

OK, so it looks like there's 4 committed riders for this so far...
Should be a real adventure, one to tell the grand-kids about!

Looking forward to this one. Arrangements have been made to be in Edinburgh at midnight on the 12th.
Hope we get a warm night like last year.

Shall also be doing the Lincoln challenge ride on June 15th as inexperience tells me it will be great preparation
for Edinburgh to York.

Long range forecast looks reasonable.
Very excited about this ride. As far as I can make out, there are 5 of us meeting up at Waverley Station Burger King. If there's anyone coming that I don't know about it would be useful to hear from you.... Feel free to PM me a mobile number. It's not too late to book a train ticket if you've not got round to it yet.

See you in Scotland.
