Sunday ride for Mussy, Andyg, Karlm and myself to Thornton Dale. Temperature around 2 so with the possibility of ice we went via Strensall, Sheriff Hutton, Terrington, Coneysthorpe (icy road on last climb before Amotherby but no drama), Kirbymisperton. Great morning, fresh with a tailwind to cafe.

Returned via Wilton, Yedingham, Settrington, Langton, Buttercrambe. Great ride, back for 2 and 75 miles.

Cheers Dave

Not much I can add to the above. We are being spoilt on these Sunday rides as the weather is proving consistently to be the the best day of the week! Some sensible riding by some sensible riders and a good cafe. I was expecting a harder ride back and the wind actually eased as we got nearer York. Hope you got back ok Karl? You should have stuck with us as we were taking the shortest route home and four always works better than one!

I need to respectfully disagree.
Having felt a bit feeble and leaving you guys for a slower pace, it was an absolute pleasure to find myself crawling up Birdsall climb at 5 mph, with a cold headwind as company for the last 18 miles to York.
:D
Really it was a very good ride. Cheers.
