New event

Should be a great weekend. It will be run by the same Italian team that do L'eroica but with the help of different agencies etc over here.
When I was over at L'eroica in Italy in October this event was launched. I spoke to the guy from the National Trust who is involved. 'Do you have any strada bianche?' I asked playfully. 'No,' he answered with total seriousness, 'we have 65 miles of cycle paths converted from a disused railway line!'
I don't think it will be as 'heroic' as the Italian version but it should be great fun and a weekend celebrating everything cycling just before Le Tour comes into town.
