Hi all,
as promised here is the suggested route for Saturday.

I'm afraid I won't be out as I'm off to Morecambe tomorrow for a leisurely coast to coast :)

Current forecast is warm, light breeze, possible light showers (don't blame me if it snows).

It's a 50 mile classic:

Stockton- Upper Helmsley- Buttercrambe- Leavening- Thixendale- Huggate Hill (caution crossing the A 166)- Millington- Gt Givendale- Bishop Wilton- Full Sutton- Stamford Bridge (over the road bridge and 1st right)- Upper Helmsley- Stockton Lane

I'll be thinking of you whilst lugging my panniers up Greenhow Hill

Hello Steve, just a note about the early rides, due to work commitments i am unable to make the longer ride and am thinking of joing the shorter one next saturday.

just wondering if the issue rasied a few weeks ago about it being a mini chain gang pace still stands true ? or has it come back down to inter's social ride pace ?

have a lovely coast to coast.

Joe

Hi Joe,
the 2 different paced groups have tended to depend on who turns up on the day, and overall numbers.

Allan was leading the steady group, but unfortunately hasn't been able to make it out for a few weeks.

If any one else is planning to do a steady ride, it would be useful if they posted on here.

Failing that, my advice would be to turn up on the day and announce that you are interested in a steady group. In the past, given the option, the group has split quite evenly.
