The volunteer spreadsheet doesn't have anyone down as organiser for this Thursday. Do we have an organiser? We've got four helpers on the spreadsheet. Please post on here ASAP!

I don't mind putting my hand up for this as I have Thursday afternoon free.
However, I don't know what I'm doing and I don't have a car. If this isn't a problem, then I'm up for it.

Please can one of the regulars help Ant with this? What needs doing is the signage and kit collecting from last week's organiser (Mark A) and taking up to the event with sufficient time in advance to drive round the circuit and put out signage, then hand over to Anthony to do signing-on and general running between pusher-offer and timekeeper. Who can help?

Hi Phil & Antony.
I'am happy to help Anthony on Thursday.
I can pick up the kit from last weeks organiser & help with getting it around the course in my car.
Do have the contact details of were to pick every thing up from ?
John.

Hi John
Mark's phone number is on the volunteer spreadsheet - in case you don't have access to this I've PM'd you too.
Many thanks!
Ant:- Helpers so far are Steve Wilson, Daniel Gorin and Peter Berry, plus Bernard Turgoose as timekeeper. Having checked the risk assessment you need three marshals for the Hovingham circuit, so you need one more helper as pusher-offer and then I reckon you're sorted (I'm assuming John's riding once he's got signs out and you're set up). I'm sure Bernard will talk you through the basic mechanics of signing on and setting people off.
One more volunteer please!

Hi Phil
Cheers for that.
Not riding.
So OK to help out with pushing of or time keeping with bernard.

Great stuff, and many thanks to you, Ant, and all the other helpers for this evening's event - looks like you're sorted. Marshals will need to be at the HQ (Sherrif Hutton roundabout) by 7:00pm at the latest to collect jackets and instructions on which corner to go to - details are in the risk assessment in the file in the big box of tricks.
While I'm posting this can I put out a plea for an organiser for the event on 25th July - there are a couple of helpers already signed up but no organiser and I'd really appreciate a quieter week (Oh, it's the city centre races so it's not going to be that quiet after all...)
Ta!
