Carradice a proper British company

I thought I would write to let everyone know how good Carradice are at supporting their products. I have just had my Carradice bar bag repaired by them as my map case had cracked.
Having identified that the map case poppers (for attaching it to the bag) have changed in the intervening years since I bought it. They (Margaret) suggested I send the bag over and for the princely sum of £5 they would fit new poppers, give me a new map case and sent it back to me.
This is the second time I have rung them to repair something and the previous time it cost me nothing.
Its nice that we still have British companies you can be proud of. I have both Ortlieb and Carradice panniers (Super C) and whilst the Carradice ones are more agricultural (less slick). I know which ones will last the longest
PS I have just got a Carradice seatbag and I keep on saying to the bikers at work I am going to upgrade the wooden dowling support with carbon fibre
