Kiwi Matt is competing in this years UK Ironman, so we are driving over to the Dark side (Lancashire) to ride the bike course. If anyone fancy's an away day please meet at the Fox Pub car park at 8:45, send me a text if you are intending to come along and we will wait for you.(07896 136 569)

What's the course? Is there a Garmin course of the route so we can see what ride we'd be getting for our journey?

If you check out the uk ironman website, selet the entry bike course starts at penny flash in Leigh, which is a body of water, 14mile to adlington,foot of the pennines then a 33 mile loop around the town of Chorley these are the roads I started cycling on, thinking we would complete the course then I can show you chaps some of the big climbs and up into rivington for lunch. Some.of the course is on a main road. Would be great if you could download onto garmin.
