I think you should modify it with a right turn to Bridlington 2 miles before the finish. It's 17 miles to Brid from there, so you'd have quite a nice 25

Riding with a GPS this year then?

I've entered anyway. Maybe I should start designing a special aero fairing for that GPS?

I rode this today. Conditions less than ideal, to be honest and quite a bit of standing water about. But it felt great to be back on the TT bike (oddly, I find it very comfortable).

Took quite a lot of effort to get out of the car into the cold but really enjoyed it. Have to say it is a cracking course. On a sunny day it would have been a stormer. Anyway, a tempered effort and I was pleased to win the ladies race. Still 30 odd seconds behind Will though! (I'll get him one day).

HUGE thanks got to Matthew Enticknap and the Malton Wheelers for the organisation. I have never seen a cake spread like it. Worth it just for that, to be honest.

Not sure on full results, but pretty sure Joel Wainman won it.
Good show from Gill Crane also for Clifton, taking the 2nd place for the ladies. :-)

I'd say this one is a must for next year!

Also, meant to say, flowers and mini trophy, great touch. Super friendly event too. Thanks!

Well done the Clifton ladies, and indeed anyone who rode it in that weather! I decided to exhibit my inner manliness by playing it soft and staying at home.

As Jess has posted a fab event that was very well organised with amazing cakes. I did not want to go at all, the weather was disgusting and it was hilly, but really enjoyed the course.
I would definitely recommend it for next year.
Jess did a really good ride made the hills look so easy and actually said she had missed time trialling afterwards whilst cuddling a cup of tea looking freezing!

So glad you ladies "enjoyed" it.

I was talking to my Wife about the prizes....next year there WILL be prizes to third. In previous years we have not had a lady compete, with next years event things must change!

Im just about thawed out now.
