Sorry Paul, i cant offer much help as, i will be getting a full race licence for the season and continue my silver membership as i intend to race all year, so im not sure what you need for the Go-Race scheme, perhaps Andy J could be your best bet or ring BC

Paul, I'm not sure, I'm as green as grass too, did 10 races last year but it was all a bit short notice and a bit of a blur, I'm not even sure if you need to be a club member as a Cat 4 but i guess that as you are a regular on the club rides you must be a Clifton member?. Its a no brainer not to get full BC membership with a racing licence if you intend to participate in several events (day membership gets very expensive) Hopefully some one with considerably more experience than me (will offer guidance) and get you going, just chuck yourself in at the deep end, that's all I did and really enjoyed it!!

I've entered for the 2nd of Feb... any chance of grabbing a lift Simon? I am happy to pay my share of petrol.
Paul - I raced three times last year on a provisional license. I think anymore and it would have been cheaper to get a full license. I think if you wanted to start racing then this would be the sort of place to do it, seems set up for beginners.

Anthony, I will let you know near the time as we may be stopping over at the farm that weekend (above Whitby) and if so will travel from there, and will not be returning to York that day.

I'll be entering this one too. Might be able to offer a lift if someone doesn't mind sharing the footwell with a dog!
Should be a nice warm-up for the Reliability Ride on Sunday.

Andy - I would be up for sharing a footwell with a dog if the offer is still open?
The circuit is only 5 miles from Darlington station, so getting the train is pretty easy as well.
FYI I emailed the organiser about 4th Cats entering the second E/1/2/3/4 race. Its free, and you can just ask to enter it when you register on the day for the first one. I have ambitions to ride both, or at least one and a half.
