If you are intending coming to the dinner and haven't booked online can you please contact me on 706192 as we are very close to the deadline!!
Also if you have sent in a postal booking and your name is not one of the following:-P.Smth;S.Berg;K.Scully:J.Watson - can you also phone me as your booking as not arrived yet.
We have a guest speaker who as done a round the world trip, as well as having cycled to the North Cap ( Norway),which will be the basis of his presentation including slides; so this will add another dimension to the evening.
It is planned for arrival at 6.45 to eat at 7.15, with a reduced time for the trophy presentations etc.
In order to allow more time for socialising and dancing as the disco will be on as well.
So if you have been undecided until now, there is still room for more, so please get your bookings to me please,

Just to echo Bernard's post - we're leaving it quite late to fill the last few spaces.

Bernard and others have worked hard this year on the event and have listened to some of your comments about wanting less time on awards/presentations to leave more time for socialising.

For newcomers this is the 1 social event in the calendar when you can see fellow club members out of lycra and meet partners etc.

This year we have an after dinner speech from a life long cyclist who has not only travelled the world by bike but proved his worth with a number on his back too. Chris will be giving a short presentation titled

' A Journey to the Arctic Circle'




giving an account of his cycle tour to the Nordkapp and back.
