Already signed up a great event, hear Ben Swift is riding, 48 mile circular route Starts in Garforth taking in Church Fenton, Selby, Cawood, Ryther, Ulleskelf, Tadcaster, Bramham, Thorner, Scholes and Barwick before Returning to Garforth.
See you there offical closing date 11th but there are entries on the day

Sounds like a bargain! Unfortunately I'll be down in Wales but looks like a great ride. Great cause too.

Middle group for Naomi & I
The ride will be split into three groups starting at:
10:30 am ‘Easy Riders’, expected pace 12-15 mph average
10:45 am ‘Middle Markers’, expected pace 15 – 20 mph average
11:00 am for Racing Cyclists expected pace above 20 mph average
Please ensure you leave time to park, sign on and orientate yourself before your expected departure

Tempting, and very much appreciated, but... Was aiming to ride over and back, since the event itself is just under 50 miles, to make a proper day of it. Since I'm doing the steady version rather than the racing version I don't need to worry about saving me legs!

With a 10:45 start for the moderately lazy and allowing time to sign on, how about 9:00 sharp departure from the Millennium Bridge?

I guess the direction will be Bishopthorpe, Acaster, Bolton Percy, so I will be waiting opposite the Post Office in Bishopthorpe.
For anyone else that would like to join us, we are doing the steady ride and sign on the day is available, and would take a bit of pressure off Kev, all welcome.
