Hi, i'm new to clifton cycling club and haven't yet been out for a ride with you all however i was planning on coming on the social ride this sunday. where and when do we meet and how far do we cycle? i just need a bit of guidance.

Normally the Sunday ride meets in Exhibition Square at 0900 and we cover 80-90 miles with a cafe stop. Back late afternoon.
This weekend is a little different though. We have a challenge ride leaving the square at 0700 - 160 miles in the Dales with loads of serious climbing. It will be a small group as several of the regulars have other things on. I doubt anyone will be there at 0900, but you could try. Alternatively you could ride out to Milby and watch the RR, see other threads. Alternatively there's an Audax on Saturday - see thread on main forum. Would guess there will be the usual social rides from the Square on Saturday at 1000.

You'd indeed be very welcome at the road race if you fancy a ride out - just turn up and ask for me and I'll give you a (non-scary, brownie-points-earning) job for as long as you're able to stay!
