Hi.
I fancy having a crack at a TT this summer. I've never ridden a TT before and a lack of experience (and fitness ) mean that I'd like to find a beginner friendly event to start off with. Can anyone advise on what would be a more suitable option - perhaps one of the Thursday evening TT series or the Clifton CC open 13 on 7 July?

RichB, I did one of the Thursday TT's this year as my first ever TT. I marshalled on the first event to see what was going on then did a TT after that. I was useless, cramped up, but had a whale of a time. As soon as work permits I'll be out there again. Go for it. Well run events, everyone friendly with lots of advice, and your first ride will give you a personal best guaranteed!

Enter the open 13, it's just like a thursday night TT, but with a result board, and cake afterwards.
