Hello

This Saturday (23rd June), NO CLUB SOCIAL RIDES ARE PLANNED at 10:00am from Exhibition Square.

The York C.T.C Rally is on the Knavesmire on Saturday and Sunday. For more info on the York Cycle Show, please have a look at their website:
http://www.ctc.org.uk/desktopdefault.aspx?tabid=4377

Please note there is the Ron Kitchin Challenge and Sportive rides from York Racecourse.

Thanks

Virginie

Sorry to see this as was looking forward to the 'Intermediate' ride on Saturday.

Haven't entered the Ron Kit this year - did it several times when it was a few quid but don't really relish the new 'Sportive' version (with accompanying sportive level entry fee).

Anyone else fancy an 'intermediate' type ride from the square on Saturday?

An Intermediate ride sounds great, Dave.
Mind you, we're trying to organise a social ride on Saturday under a thread titled "No social ride on Saturday" :D

What route do we have in mind?
We could follow lots of blue signs that lead all the way to Danby, otherwise known as a “Ron Kit 160km” (and eat at the Danby Moor Centre).
Or perhaps do a quick one round the 100km version, if only a few of us turn up.

Anyone else interested?

Might be a bit cheeky to 'piggyback' the Ron Kit. I suggest we meet at 10 and we can decide on a route to suit the numbers/weather. I'm sure we can cobble something together ;)

I'll start a separate thread..
