Gerry Boswell has had his best bike stolen. The blue Dave Yates bike was stolen from the back yard of the British Heart Foundation shop in Acomb on Friday locked to a drain pipe - police informed.

3 friends of mine helped foil cycle thieves in Otley on Saturday. The thieving b*****rds grabbed bikes parked at the Manor Square cafe and jumped on the pillion of stolen motorcycles which zoomed off. Luckily they were spotted before they got too far. The cycles were recovered but the thieves escaped on the motorcycles.

Looks like bikes are now seen as targets by the thieving fraternity - we all need to be more careful...
