If anyone would like a lift to this next Saturday I have a space in the car. Not yet decided what time i'll be leaving Haxby but certainly in time to get a spin round the circuit so I can (a) warm up and (b) identify where i'm most likely to get dropped and never see the group again!

If that's the Barton Wheelers race it's a real hard little circuit. I thought so anyway.
A good place to start though..handicap racing in small groups..Good luck to all those riding, I'll be doing the summer one when it's a straight race.

On bike, the frame failed just above the rear derailleur hanger. Real shame as I thought the hanger was meant to break first to save the frame when the rear derailleur hit the ground. Cycleworks have sent it back to Madison/Cervelo and they might replace it, fingers crossed. Needs a new rear derailleur as well but everything else seems to be cosmetic.
