Here's the update for Saturday 10am social rides from the square:

- “K” Group: Coxwold. 67 Miles.
Out via Aldwark-Myton-Helperby-Sessay-Dalton-Bagby-Kilburn.
Note: Shorter Route option @ Sessay head Direct to Coxwold via Husthwaite.

- Alternative Route/ Destniation Option: Ripley. 70 Miles.
Out via Aldwark Bridge-Dunsforth-Boroughbridge--Roecliffe-Bish Monkton-Markington.

Got up to go this morning on these rides. Now some would say I wimped out but I'll say it was a wise decision after I went and looked at the road outside my house. Didn't fancy having to scooter along all the way to York constantly in fear of coming off on ice. Even now it still looks dodgy at 1030. I hope everybody whose out has a safe ride.

Went out on Kevin's ride today to coxwold. The roads were fine, most were dry with only a little ice in a couple of shaded area. Was quite a cold day with frost lingering in the fields but sunshine all day.
