Just in case any of you feel in the racing 'doldrums' after the Tour finished and want some live reading.

2 of our faster MTBers, Lisa Bolton and Steph Fountain are competing in the Trans Wales multi stage race this week trying to defend their win in the Female Pairs last year.

After a rocky (no pun intended) start for the 1st 3 days, stuck in 2nd place, they're now in the lead.

We didn't have any phone signal for the next couple of days after that! But we were writing the blog and it is all up there now with pictures so you can read what it is like to do the Trans Wales, we wrote up every stage!

It was the most amazing week ever! We ended up coming 2nd to two very fast Scottish girls, they were just too good at climbing. It was great fun chasing them though and we grabbed our chance at the only downhill stage and beat them by enough to get the leaders jerseys for the following day. Highly recommend it for anyone who likes a challenge!
