Okay, it's that time again...
Deadline for stuff to go into the spring Cliftonite is Sun 20th Feb. If that's too early (eg you have some fixtures) then please let me know roughly how much space you'll need so I can leave a gap. I'm aiming to get it to the printer by beginning of March which should mean posted out by middle of the month (lot of envelopes to stuff!).
File formats: pretty much anything is okay but please no Microsoft Publisher files as I can't open them.
Photo's: the more the better - keep sending em in.
Advertising: we have paying advertisers and to be fair to them please no articles that directly promote a business in which you have an interest - so it's fine for a nutritionist to write an article about nutrition but 'come along to my office and I'll charge you £xx' isn't.
Articles about anything cycling related, sports related or that might otherwise be of interest to readers - if I consider it to be in any way racist, sexist etc then I won't print it - please remember that all ages receive a copy.

Quicky on formats: I can't open Microsoft Publisher files (.pub) as you need to have Publisher and I don't - you need to send them to me as something else e.g. PDF. Also, for anyone using the latest versions of MS Office - I'm having few issues with files saved as .docx - if it's just text/photos then should be fine, but if anything more complex (tables & text boxes etc) then best to save it as a plain old-fashioned .doc to make sure I get at all and in the correct places!
Otherwise, all common formats are ok - jpeg/tiff/gif/psd, PDF, ESP, .doc, .xls etc.
Cheers
Cath
