Somewhere to ride!!??

Hi Guys, with the trails at Dalby still closed I am struggling to find somewhere to ride I tried Castle Howard last week but was really boggy!! I live in York! I saw someone said a ride from Tadcaster where off road can you ride? Any suggestions welcome!!

Sounds like you need to get your self a guide book, the one I have is by no means the best but it will get you started.

I have a couple of loops that I do from York, have you checked out bridleways on an OS map? Heading out through Fulford golf course/ Dunnington... there's a few options for a leg stretch that keep off the roads.

Thanks guys will have to have a look!! Think I have been lazy just going Dalby every week then when its closed Im stuck!!!

Managed to get that book off Amazon £2.81 bargain!!! Especially if I can find places to ride!!

Hi Guys
Got the book today and looks great but would still like to hear about local routes eg fulford, dunnington and Tadcaster as they all still quite far away in book!

Hi, looks like you live nearby. I could take you onto the moors sometime if you like and show you some routes - travelling time is the same as Dalby. I work shifts so availability is mixed. Let me know if you're interested. Steve
