Chaingang

Are the tuesday evening chaingangs still happening? if so what is the pace and were do they meet?

Although I havent ridden the chaingang every week (and normally join en route when I do) there has been a regular group leaving from the roundabout on the ring road / Wetherby Rd near Acomb at 18:15 on a Tuesday. They will ride out through Rufforth, Tockwith & Cowthorpe do a lap of a 4 mile loop round Little Ribston and North Deighton and retrace the route back to Acomb the idea being any latecomers, puncture victims or anyone getting dropped can meet the group on the way back. Its about 29 miles & flat - generally 20mph out and 25 mph back although that depends whos out!
