I've converted an old road bike into a single speed, and if i could get hold of a 17t sprocket (almost any condition) it would mean i won't need a chain tensioner.

So if you're throwing out an old Shimano cassette and it has a 17t sprocket on it i would be really grateful if you would let me know.

Hey Nick, I've found one if you're still looking!?
As you know, I'm a Campag man and had to go down several decades of strata in my bit box.... it was between the Biopace chainrings and cotter-pins!
Let me know and I'll slip it in a Jiffy bag....

When I looked at it I needed to renew my commuter bike's cassette and it had one.
BTW, Paul's right about ebay.
