Hi,
New here and new to cycling. Saw a poster in Cycle Heaven and thought it would be a good idea to find a few like minded.
Bought a old Raleigh of a mate for £20 six months ago to see if I could get into cycling at all...just use it for a 3 mile run to work.
Found it ok though..so recently bought a Boardman comp.sc on a c2w scheme.
Bought a few bits from the rally last weekend and went out for my first proper ride..about 20mile I think.
Would like to get out on the beginner club ride at some point. Can i just turn up or do I need to be initiated?

Rick - you will be made more than welcome if you come along for a ride. No initiation, in fact no pressure to join until you are sure Clifton is for you.

From what you say I would recommend Willys Easy Riders first. Then maybe try a Kevin ride on a Sat. Willy be able to advise you on whether Kevins rides will be suitable.
