Spoco marshall's - can someone stand in for me?

Okay. Been asked this question, discussed with Phil and we've agreed that while our instinct is to say 'no', that might be counter-productive since the main concern is ensuring the events actually go ahead. So, in certain circumstances (e.g. you work shifts and can only make 6 out of 12 weeks), yes you can:
1. Let me know in advance the reason why and the name of the person who is marshalling for you.
2. They MUST be aged 18 or over and a Clifton CC member (not your granny visiting from Australia - unless she brings a membership form with her).
3. You are limited to riding 6 events (since that's the reason you want a stand-in).
I'm aware that this one is going to be controversial & probably unpopular with some - please don't start a big debate on this thread, there are no rules covering this issue at the moment, so if you want to have your say then please go along to the OGM in October when next seasons events/rules/guidelines are debated and set.
Thanks, Cath
