Can anyone lend me some lights?

A place to talk about anything! Want to find someone to ride with? Get help on mending things? Organise lifts?

Can anyone lend me some lights?

Post by Rob »

Guys,

I have a pair of those old Smart 10+2W lights with the Pb/acid pack that swings under the top-tube. Its about 8 years old and in its youth would give me two hours on full wack and about 8 hours on "side-light". Its feeling its age now and will give me about 1 hour from full charge plus some more on side-light. This is fine for most things I do, but a little lacking for the Solstice Tan Hill run on Sunday week. I don't want to splash out just for this one ride, so could anybody lend me a similar (more reliable) set-up?

Much appreciated......

I've got a set of Lumicycles which you can borrow.

We have 2 sets of Smart lights like your own but not quite of the same vintage and you are welcome to borrow a set? I've charged them both up and will run them down & recharge a time or two before the big day just to double - check if they will hold charge.

Thanks both of you!
Could I please take Paul up on his offer as I am at least already set up with brackets?

Cheers
