Just had an interesting story sent by Andy Vose of York Cycling City Team.

www.bikebiz.com/news under heading 'Road Tax Rebuttal Movement Gains Pace' gives details of a new campaign to nail the lie that cyclists are road free-loaders, as 'you're all road tax dodgers, so piss-off dick-----

The campaign is to make clear that roads are paid out of general taxation, NOT out of Road Tax, which is actually Vehicle Excise Duty, and there is now a NEW cycling jersey produced with a Fake Tax Disk for cyclists, by the people who do the Marmite etc ones.

So for this spring the in-fashion will be........

Oh, by the way, Morrisons in Acomb are getting customers at the tills to sign a PETITION!!!! for more car parking spaces!!!!!You can't see the end of the car park as it is! Still they've put a planning application in, and I'm objecting, hope you will be too!
Long way to go mates......
You should see their bike rack, one 25 year old wheel bender and 6 cycle hoops where no one can find them!
Oh, and none of this nonsense about skimping on free plastic bags either, when I was there for ONE bag of mussels and One fish the till person opened up 6!!! plastic carriers, just to show how friendly Morrisons are. It's tough when you're chasing Sainsbury!
Well, got a new slogan: MorrisonnoMore!

Brave New World!
