Christmas dinner

Post by Arthur M »

I was wondering anyone was organising this again for this year? I dont know if arrangements have aready been made, but if not yet, Melbourne arms has a nice looking christmas menu, and they specialise in mediterranean food as well as your traditional christmas roasty stuff, and theyre only 19.95 for 3 courses...

Just an idea :)

You'd not have much of a ride to work off those three courses, would you Arthur?

I'd had a chat with likemybike about the Clifton RR refreshments team putting on an Xmas Ride Out Special at Stamford Bridge village hall - am awaiting details of what would be on offer and at what cost. Will then post on here and let democracy take its course....

If it helps to gauge numbers I'd be up for an Xmas ride-out meal in all probability....

I'd be up for it, though given my current fitness it'd have to be pretty near :(

The Christmas Ride Out Lunch will be at the Blacksmiths Arms in Flaxton again on Saturday 5th December. 12 for 12.30 so we should be able to ride home in daylight.
Cost is £15.95 for 2 courses or £19.95 for 3 courses. Link to menu here http://www.blacksmithsarmsflaxton.co.uk ... nu2009.pdf

Names and menu choices to me please by 30/11. Payment by cheque payable to "Clifton Cycling Club" or direct into bank account (details in the Cliftonite).

Looking forward to an uneventful ride this year.

Just a reminder that the ride out lunch is a week on Saturday so please let me know if you want to come as we need to let the pub know numbers a few days in advance.

For children there is the option of reduced portions at half normal price £8 or £10.
