...a thread began on this forum - "It's getting cold" - which would transform our understanding of cycling, weather, psychology and root vegetables. Just like the French Revolution, it's simply Too Early To Say what its final effects will be, but one thing is sure - it will all be decided in the Pyrenees.
Things seem a bit different this year. With the hour back, I got to commute to Selby in the light yesterday, and it was so warm I had short sleeves on. The BBC says this warm weather will carry on all week. This time last year the frost came in and stayed until February. So fingers crossed for an ice-free winter...
