Both Dr. Dave and I cannot make this week, but others can. So perhaps if you post on here if you are riding and say meet at the square for 9.30am?

Guys, I'm not going to make it today, as the weather is terrible and I still can't squeeze my brakes the way I would like.

Thursday is looking good weather wise and I will be going out then if people want to go.

Did anyone make the square this morning at 9.30? I got delayed slightly and by the time I got there at 9.40 there was no one in sight. Wasn't sure whether I had missed everyone or everyone else had been sensible and stayed at home!

Anyway ended up going up to Masham for lunch and then back via the hills to Ripon and finally back to York via Aldwark Bridge. 79 miles in total and very, very, very wet.

Unfortunately need to work next week so won't be out but hopefully might make the following week.

Nollaig & I were there at 9:30, by 9:40 we decided no one was stupid enough to brave the elements so we carried on on a shorter trip. A 63km route via Haxby, Stamford Bridge, Kexby, Escrick & Naburn. Windy & wet but better than nowt.

I have the day off next Tue, what speeds do you chaps ride at and how far?

Hi Richard,

Speed tends to fluctuate depending on who's there. We never drop anybody but when the faster people hit a hill they go and then wait somewhere down the line.

Will be good to have more people.

See you Tuesday
