Hi there everybody,

I am back on line(at last) so if you have any questions or are un-sure whether to come along post me.

As a rule of thumb if you have been doing the intermediate rides on Saturday then it will be hard day's ride but you will be able to make it.
You need to carbo load for a couple of days before and you need to be feeling good at the start.

Tanhill is not an audax ride this year it is being run as a longer club run.
The route out and back has been changed as we will be starting and finishing in the square.

Meet up in the square for 0730.

Depending on numbers and riders we may split into 2 groups at the start, however,I hope we could stick together at least till Helperby.
The club group will travel at a pace so everyone can remain in the group and we will not leave anyone behind.

If you are planning on coming please post here if you have any questions please post me.

There will not be a club run the following week as it is the club road race.
iIf you could help at that event would you please post Phil as they still need helpers

I'll be coming as long as I'm pain free.

Anyone got a map for garmin people?

I can guarantee I will not be pain free at some point or other but I'm planning on being there.

Other than starting at the Square, is the route as detailed in the directions on the web site?

That was my expectation too Dave - only my map shows lots of wavy brown lines ominously close together at some points.

Gonna be a wet day on Sunday :(, sorry for the doom and gloom, I'm a realist, let's hope the Met Office is wrong.
