Posted: Sun Jul 12, 2009 6:26 pm
Here are the riders' notes for this Thursday's SPOCO on the Sutton course:
1. Please keep off the roads around the start & finish area – be aware of traffic and show consideration to other road users.
2. This event takes place on the public highway – riders must obey the Highway Code at all times.
3. Marshall's are only there to indicate direction – it is up to you to make sure that it is safe to proceed.
4. Please be aware that this event takes place mainly on unclassified country roads – there may be potholes, poor surface conditions, mud and other debris. Be vigilant at all times and always ride within your ability.
5. Clifton CC encourages all riders to wear a hard shell helmet – riders under 18 must wear a helmet.
Please park in Sheriff Hutton rather than near the start of the course, as there is very limited parking near the start and it is needed by the people who are running the event.
