Here are the notes for this Thursday's SPOCO on the Coneysthorpe circuit:

1. Please keep off the roads around the start & finish area, be considerate of residents & other road users. After you finish – please do not bother the Timekeeper!
2. Marshall's are only there to indicate direction, they cannot direct traffic. It is up to you to make sure that it is safe to proceed.
3. This event takes place on the public highway – riders must obey the Highway Code at all times.
4. Bulmer Bank is a fast, steep descent followed by a steep climb - ride within your ability.
5. Ensure you stay on the left through the fast bends in Bulmer village.
6. Be aware of Right of Way signs when going through the arches on castle Howard Drive – oncoming traffic has priority.
7. You will have to make a RIGHT TURN at the T-junction before Terrington Village – be aware of traffic and make sure it is safe before you proceed.
8. You must give way to oncoming traffic on the bridge at the bottom of Terrington Bank.
9. Clifton CC encourages all riders to wear a helmet – riders under 18 must wear a helmet.

Note for anyone planning to ride tonight:

I will be setting up the course, but our son is not v.well so I'll not be hanging around with him at the start as planned, but coming straight back home - Paul will get to the start when he finishes work but this isn't likely to be much before 6:45 or even a bit later so don't panic if there's no one there when you arrive!

Cath.
