Riders' Notes for the SPOCO on the 28th May

Here are the riders notes for this Thursday's SPOCO:

1. Please keep off the roads around the start/finish area & be considerate of local residents and other road users. After you finish, please do not bother the Timekeeper.
2. Marshalls are only there to indicate direction and cannot direct traffic, it is up to you to make sure it is safe to proceed.
3. This event takes place on the public highway – riders must obey the Highway Code at all times.
4. The approach to Bulmer Bank is a fast descent followed by a steep climb – ride within your ability.
5. Ensure you stay on the left through the fast bends in Bulmer village.
6. Terrington Bank is a fast, steep descent - ride within your ability.
7. You must give way to oncoming traffic on the bridge at the bottom of Terrington Bank.
8. Clifton CC encourage all riders to wear a hard shell cycle helmet – riders under the age of 18 must wear a helmet.
