Club shorts, wearing over time...

Post by willhub »

Hi.

I think mine are almost at the end of their life, still got some in it, just wondering, over time, does the back, where it says Clifton CC, become see through in wet? I'm paranoid and it's soaking here today and wanting to go out but I don't know if they go see through, would be embarrassing!

I only have one, the other shorts are black endura and I messed up buying those, you cant try em on in shops without wearing boxers so they felt ok with boxers on, seems like the pad in them does not fit me correctly :(

Maybe I need to bed em in with a few hundred miles.

The panel that says 'Clifton' on it does become thin and transparent over time - but then for the price you can't expect them to last forever!

Will:- just get some old-fashioned shoe polish and paint your ar*e-cheeks, then however thin the panel on the back of the shorts gets, no-one will know. Brilliant!

I'll never see Cherry Blossom shoe shine in the same light again, and as for Parade Ground Gloss!!!!!!! No doubt Phil, you'll soon be suggesting light tan or mid tan for newly shaven anaemic legs.

Well I need a new pair of Clifton shorts, so when I come home in a week or so I'll go buy another pair, I thought since I'm in Manchester wheelers I'll get one of their shorts but no way they cost £50!!!!, and they are only black with wheelers on the side  For £35 like Clifton ones they'd be ok like.
