Sunday Club Run - Note from Helen

Note from Mum/Helen;
She might not be out this weekend as she doesn't have a roadbike at the moment and mine doesn't fit her well, so is there anyone who would be able to lead on sunday if Mum/Helen can't make it?
Also, she's wondering how many people are doing the Scotton this weekend - and would anyone possibly lead a ride around it?
Hopefully Mum will be out but without a bike she's pretty much grounded this weekend.

I'm doing the Scotton this weekend and I'm riding it on my MTB. I'm not riding for a time, just wanting to enjoy my first proper MTB ride. Trouble is I can't really lead this because I've never done the route before. I was hoping someone who's ridden it before might step up to lead.....any volunteers?

Steve,
It's more like leading the Audaxes. The route is easy. Last year there were about 3 groups of us riding round together at various paces. Those who go for a time tend to ride alone anyway.
I'll be thinking of you in Burnsall on Sunday

I am riding Scotton tomorrow
Willy, Jeff and I made up Clifton grupetto last year and happy for anyone to join me on road again this
fyi - John and i are driving out and riding mtbs and not planning on racing around!
iirc Dave organized signing on into 3 groups - fast, medium, slow
Last year i think Nige Gos led a charge in the fast group, Paul and the mtb crew set off in medium and we led up the rear
I suggest anyone arriving early looks at list to see where most Cliftonites are or else hang on if want to ride with us
When we are out on the road it may become sensible to split group if hit by punctures but rest assured no one will be left on their own
