"Free" Danube ride last week in June

I was wondering if anyone else had seen and registered for the “free” Danube ride sponsored by the EU (see link below) as mentioned in the CTC newsletter from 13th March. It looks fun.
I have registered for the easy Route 1 although I also stated that I would not mind Route 2 but just wanted to get registered in time.
