Tuesday Ride - 0915 in the square

I thought Wass bank and lunch at Helmsley?
EDIT - heavy rain forecast mid-afternoon. I might aim to be back by 1:30 so as to get a reasonable ride in and keep dry!

5 Tuesday riders this week - Gill, Brian, Mandy, Helen and myself. Heavy rain forecast after lunch so we aimed for a shorter ride. Wass bank was felt to be a climb too far so we curtailed the route: Haxby, Sutton on the Forest, Brandsby, Yearsley, Ampleforth, Coxwold, Easingwold, to the Raskelf cafe. After lunch Helen and I headed out over Aldwark bridge, past Ethelburga's, through to Cattal, Tockwith and home whilst Gill's group headed to Poppleton. We didn't quite beat the weather - good going rain and a gusty headwind for the last 20 miles
Still, another enjoyable mid-week outing - 63 miles at a nice steady pace - any more riders for next week?
