Hull Thursday team time trial

Hi,
Does anybody fancy doing this race with me? i think it is 24 miles and takes place next month if memory serves me correct.

We did it last year, it was a really great event. However it was also the windiest day of the year, which made it more than interesting everytime Stacey got picked up and thrown across the road. Some people still rode discs and deep rims, although we passed three riders getting ambulance care, who had touched due to the high winds and very light bikes.
The standard was pretty good at the top end.

Sounds like a interesting event! I shall have to adjust my nutritional plan to include more beers and kebabs for cross wind stability

That must have been the 3up you did Brian, I heard one rider suffered a broken leg, and another rider of the same team a broken collarbone and cracked ribs.

Yes that was it. It was pretty scary (because of the wind) and you could see unless you where a big bloke that riding on a full disc was asking for trouble with 2 other people around you.
Nice course if the weather is good.
