Hi all,

I'm considering having a crack at the Maratona dles Dolomites next year. I've visited the area a couple of times in the past for walking and "via ferrata", and the awesome scenery might take some of the pain away during the climbs...

Does anybody on here have any experience of the ride, or any words of encouragement to help me through a long winter of training?!

You could have a look around some of the local club websites, I think some guys from the Yorkshire Road Club rode it this year with another group from Bob Jackson's in Leeds, maybe worth a look there.

Jason, I'm going to do it as well.

I did the GF Campgnolo this year and the views were just stunning, almost made you forget the climbing.

I've done that area on skis, so looking forward to a crack at it on the bike.
